Internet mit mehreren PC´s gleichzeitig (über HUB)

Hallo! Kann mir jemand helfen?

Wir haben ein Netzwerk über einen HUB, wobei dort auch das ADSL-Modem dran hängt. Alle PC´s laufen auf Windows 98. Ich kann zwar mit jedem einzelnen PC ins Internet, aber nicht mit allen gleichzeitig.
Was muß bzw. kann ich tun?

HI

Solange das ADSL-Modem am Hub hängt, kann immer nur ein Rechner darauf zugreifen!!! Du mußt das Modem an einen Rechner hängen (mit einer zusätzlichen Netzwerkkarte) und dann auf diesem Rechner das Internet Connection Sharing installieren/aktivieren. Anstelle vom ICS kannst du aber z.B. auch WinGate installieren.
Danach kannst du dann mit allen Rechnern gleichzeitig ins Netz.

Hat da schon jemand Erfahrungen mit einem der Diversen DSL-Router ??

Ich hab hier zum testen einen Kindston-KNR7TXD stehen. Bis jetzt keine Chance eine Verbindung aufzubauen.

Das Teil verwendet PPPoE. Liegts daran ?

Oder liegt das Problem am Alcatel ?? Ich hab noch ein ANT-1000. ( Kann man das bei AON irgendwie gegen ein neues tauschen ?? )

ich habs geschaft ich hab das modem an den uplink port vom hub gehängt und wenn ich mit meinem hauptrechner ins internet gehe und wingate starte können die anderen 3 rechner auch surfen!!!!!!!!!!!
du brauchst also keine 2. netzwerkkarte!

Ich habe es jetzt auch über den uplink-Port (hier ist das ADSL-Modem angeschlossen) und WINGATE geschafft!!

hi oldman,

du wirst keine chance haben einen ADSL-Router der ppp-over-ethernet verwendet mit einem pptp-provider (die telekom) zum laufen zu kriegen da es sich um unterschiedliche protokolle handelt

die Spezifikationen der jeweiligen protokolle kannst du in den RFC's nachlesen:
