Hallo Leute,

Hab seit Dezember Chello classic und oft massive Geschwindigkeitsprobleme

Abends meistens Ping-Zeiten (zu verschiednen Servern) >100ms und oft auch ~300ms, up/download laut speedtest.net je nach Server meistens so 2-4Mbit down und ~300kbit up :cry:

Meine Frage: ist das bei Chello/Kabel zu erwarten ?? Oder geht da sonst daneben ? Hatte vorher xDSL da ging alles wunderbar...

Router/PC kann ich ausschliessen, mit direkter Verbindung auf Test-Notebook verhält es sich gleich.

Download habe ich zb. jetzt statt 25 Mbit so 400 kB cool nicht ?
UPC kann mir nicht helfen da sie leider am Limit sind um die Zeit ned schlecht wenigstens hat es der Techniker zugegeben.

EDIT:// Tracert zb. zu der IP von dir geht bei mir gar nicht ( Zeit Überschreitung :-)

hatte gestern noch 16 mbit ( chello classic im 10. bez). gestern Upload booster dazubestellt, heute war upload booster aktiv - schaffe auch die vollen 2 mbit UP - aber download nur mehr 6 mbit... habs dem chello helpdesk gemeldet... haben es an den 2nd level weitergeleitet. toll 2 tage chello - schon probleme.

kurzer Nachtrag:

Nach einer Mail-Support-Anfrage, wurde ich am nächsten(!) Tag zurückgerufen
-> "problem bekannt, wir arbeiten daran sollte bald behoben sein"
-> 3 Tage später: alles läuft wunderbar, abends nur minimal langsamer,
up/down am Anschlag

-> ca.2 wochen später: wieder schluss mit lustig, pings an der decke, up/download im Keller :cry:

-> eine weitere supportanfrage bleibt bis jetzt unbeantwortet

ist jemandem schon mal etwas vergleichbares widerfahren ?
finde den "Sprung" nach dem ersten Hop merkwürdig, riecht irgendwie nach Flaschenhals...

UPC ist abzocke pur:
->fixe IP aber kein Serverbetrieb
->shaping bis zu geht nimma
->Ausfälle dank neuer Kunden
->Nachbarn benützen die Bandbreite mit
-> Service schlecht (erst ab 2nd gut)
->Teilweise wird per USB(1.1 max 5mbit) ein 16mbit Anschluss verbunden!!!

und die Preise sind auch nicht die besten.

Was soll da noch an UPC gut sein bzw welcher Grund sollte jemanden dazu veranlasst sein um chello zu kaufen?

1. Einfach machen
2. Ne, ich komm nachts auf über 1Mb/s
3. Ich hatte noch nie einen Ausfall
4. Ja und, was machst du wenn bei deinem DSL der DSLAM weit weg ist oder überladen.
5. Ja stimmt 2nd level ist Kompetent (meine Erfahrung).
6. Ne, Ethernet wird empfohlen und bervorzugt.
