im augenblick ratlos. es koennte hoechstens sein, dass ganz an anfang bei IP Address Assignment die oeffentliche IP gemeint ist und du daher "dynamic" angeben muesstest. aber das hast du sicher schon ausprobiert.

wenn ich das logfile richtig lese, bricht die einwahl sehr frueh ab. koennte es sein, dass die verbindung zum modem rein elektrisch nicht funktioniert? kabel, stecker ...?

wie schon jutta gesagt hat, assignment würd ich mal auf dynamic setzen
dann noch die subnet, die sollte 255.255.255.0 sein, der gateway 10.0.0.138, network adress translation eigentlich auch ein. (sonst würdest ja mit deinen pc nicht ins i-net kommen)

das kabel und die stecker funktionieren die habe ich schon getestet.
vielleicht kannst du deine confi irgenwie posten damit ich mich an der orientieren kann.
