pap/chap authentication

ist jemandem aufgefallen, dass aon manchmal keine pap
authentifizierung zulässt?
und wenn sich mein pppd mit dem entfernten pppd auf chap einigt,
akzeptiert dieser das nicht und verlangt es weiterhin

die aon hotline ist was linux anbelangt nicht sehr kooperativ
