Umzug und Kündigung Tele2

Beitragvon Tekka » Fr 30 Okt, 2009 11:59

Grüß Gott,

Ich spreche nur ein wenig Deutsch (ich komme aus Frankreich) deshalb schreibe ich in Englisch.
Du kannst in Deutsch antworten. Ich liebe Google :)

So I live in Austria since February (I can understand and speak a little bit of German, but write is still very difficult :) ) and SInce that date, I have an internet connection with Tele2 (RohrXL). I'm very happy with (even if internet is really expensive in Austria !) but of course there is a problem :(

I have a problem with my owner and we decided to leave our current flat at the end of November. And we found a new flat, but in the far west of Wien ^^ Where Tele2 gives me a bad connection :( (Only 8M/700k, I need and want more). So stupidly, I was thinking like if I was in France : "No problem, I can resign my contract as I'm moving...". But what I'm reading (at least what I try to understand in German :) ) tells me that I'm complety wrong...

If I'm right I must keep my contract until February (12 Month). If I decide to move the line, I will have to pay for the AT installation and I will continue to pay for a XL but I will have only a Extra... Am I right ? (If yes : WTF !)

So my question is : What can I do ? Is it possible to quit Tele2 and pay for the few month until february ? Is there something that I should know about moving ? Please Help !!!

Danke schön !! :)

you have two possibilities

first you resign your contract and pay until february

or you move your line to the new destination and pay the movement to tele2, this is the company, you have an contract and not the TA
the TA makes only the installation of the line for tele2, .....

if the speed from tele2 is not as good as now, there is not a great chance you will get a better speed from another provider,
because all the providers uses the same line ..from TA ;)

denkt dran.... vor nicht alzulanger (in universumsmassstäben gemessen) hockten wir noch auf bäumen...

Thank you very much for your answer and thank you for writting in Englich :)

Ok for the fees with tele2 and not TA :)

For the quality of the line, I would like to go with Chello. On their site I should be abble to have 50M/xM (don't remember the upload) I know that this is not the same connection (DSL vs Cable) and I hope that what they propose is true :)

If so the best choise would be to pay for tele2 until february for nothing :( (because I suppose the fee for mooving are expensive ?)

The fees for moving depend on your contract and what products are available on the new location - pure tele2 internet (xdsl) or tele2 internet over the Telekom Austria (reseller adsl).
I suggest to call the tele2 help desk, they can make a clear statement on the fees.

The 3rd possibility would be that you sign your Tele2 contract over to the next renter (if he/she agrees). This way your out of the contract immediately and wouldn't have to pay till February.

I hope that helps.
