Website inaccessible from Austria since yesterday !

Hi guys,

I am in Villach using tele2uta and since yesterday evening, I cannot access for example the following website: www.scootentole.org !
I know it works because I have friends in France that can access it !
I contacted someone living in Wien and he cannot access this website with both Tele2UTA and Inode....

i can't reach it from upc either (but i *can* reach it from my ta biz account). guess that some upstream has a problem. have you contacted your provider already?

I can reach it via i3b ... really seems to be some upstream/peering problem with upc and tele2.

I have contacted tele2uta through the "tchat" interface, but they told me that everything that is "technical" needs to be addressed to the "technical hotline"... As I don't speak german so well,, I gave up

i posted it in utanet.support newsgroup and hope that some admin will read it. but anyway the problem is located somewhere in the upstream, so our providers can only send a mail to their upstream and hope that they will fix the problem.

all working routes are going over the as8218.eu Provider, the Provider that doesn´t work is aorta.net.

@timmbo: und du kannst sicherlich den zusammenhang zwischen aorta (upc) und dem fehlen (von selbiger) im traceroute des thread-erstellers, der tele2uta als provider hat, erklären...

@thread-opener: don't take timmbo's message too serious; aorta is part of upc (an other isp) - you are using tele2uta as isp, there is no connection in the routing of this 2 companies, only the same result (a not reachable target).

the only one that can help you is your isp, it shouldn't be a problem do find someone who speaks english (more problems will make the seasonal days, it can happen that not all technicians will work on these days).
