Hi smitty
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What is DSL?
DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) uses the current copper infrastructure to supply broadband service access to the Internet. This service requires specialized equipment at the DSL.net location and a DSL modem at the subscriber's location. DSL.net currently offers "SDSL" (symmetric DSL, or in other words, same speeds, both directions) for small- and medium-sized businesses.
There are many different types of DSL technologies as illustrated in this comparison chart.
